Privacy Notice

Last updated: 19 September 2026

Shannon Hydrogen Limited (registered in Ireland, no. 818081; registered office 13 Adelaide Road, Dublin 2, D02 P950) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, by email, and in the course of our business.

What we collect and why

Enquiries and correspondence. If you contact us, we hold your name, organisation, contact details and the content of your message so that we can respond and manage our relationship with you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running our business and responding to you.

Surveys and studies. If you take part in one of our surveys or feasibility studies, we collect the personal data described in that survey’s own notice — typically a name, role and work email. Other answers relate to your organisation and are used in aggregated form only; no figure is attributed to any organisation without its written consent. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in assessing demand and planning our services, and consent where we ask to keep you informed. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time.

Suppliers and partners. We hold business contact details of the people we deal with at our suppliers, advisers and partners in order to perform our contracts and manage those relationships.

Website. This site is hosted on Wix, which may set essential cookies and collect technical data needed to run the site. We do not use advertising cookies. See Wix’s own privacy statement for its processing as host.

Who we share it with

Service providers who process data on our behalf — website hosting, email, survey tools, professional advisers — under contracts that require them to protect it; public funding bodies, in anonymised or aggregated form, where a study is publicly funded; and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Where a provider stores data outside the EEA, we rely on EU-approved safeguards (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep it

Correspondence and business-contact data: for the duration of our relationship and up to six years after, in line with company-record obligations. Survey personal data: as stated in the survey notice (normally 12 months after the study ends). We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, or to withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Write to info@shannonhydrogen.ie or to the registered office above. You may also refer to the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie) for further information.

Security

We keep personal data on access-controlled company systems and limit it to the people who need it.

Changes

We will update this notice as our processing changes and show the date of the latest version above.
